Most popular oven surface elements

Coil surface elements fit most electric ranges. Match three things: the diameter (6" or 8"), the spider shape under the coil (delta or Y), and the number of turns. Wattage is printed on the element terminals or in the range's manual.

Universal surface unit receptacle

Part number AA12

A replacement for many brands. The kit comes complete with a plug-in block, wires and terminals, porcelain wire connectors, extended heat shrink tubing and two different brackets to hold the block in place. The brackets let this kit replace many different plug-in surface unit blocks.

Plastic surface unit block

Part number RR118

Replaces the General Electric and Hotpoint block used with SU121 and SU122.

Range block for General Electric & Hotpoint

Part number RR107

Used with WB30X218 and WB30X219.

Terminal

Part number CB105

Terminal for the RR107 range block.

An element that works only when you wiggle it usually means a burnt receptacle, not a bad element. Replace both at the same time if the old terminals are pitted or discolored. See more in our stove repair tips.
